The room changes everything.
It took nearly two decades, and more than fifty cities, to build this one.
The Gild Society is the newest room in a family that has been bringing people together since 2007. It is also the first one you can ask to join.
It began with the setting
In 2007, our founder, Anoush, brought a British-inspired way of meeting people to the United States. What she found here was an idea living in coffee shops and plain meeting rooms, in settings that rarely matched the evening people were hoping to have.
So she moved it. Into beautiful lounges, intimate cocktail rooms, and venues that felt like a private club. Her thinking was simple: elevate the setting, and the experience changes.
It did. And before long, so did the people who came.
When the experience rises, the people do too.
The idea behind every room
Meet Anoush
Anoush has spent nearly two decades creating rooms where people meet easily and well. The Gild Society is the newest of them, and the one she has been building toward.
Then we began to notice people
Over nearly two decades and more than fifty cities, one evening became many, and one kind of evening became several. Some were built for dating. Some were for business. Some were simply for meeting someone new.
Across all of them, the same thing kept happening. In every room there were a few people everyone was glad to have met: warm, gracious, curious, easy to talk to. Her hosts remembered them. Other guests asked about them. She came to believe that niceness matters more than almost anything else, and she began inviting those people back, as her guests.
There was never an application for that. You couldn't ask to be included. You were simply noticed.
Why we built Gild
For years, being noticed was the only way in. The Gild Society exists because Anoush wanted one room that gathered the best of every other, and she wanted there to be a door you could knock on.
So Gild is a private club with an application. Not everyone who applies is accepted, because the standard is the same one she has always used: not looks, not credentials, but presence. The person a room is better for having in it.
Those who are accepted join Gild's own evenings, and are welcomed, by invitation, across everything else we host.
And where it leads
The same years that built these rooms also built Luvo Matchmaking, the luxury matchmaking service she guides herself. Luvo doesn't search among strangers. It introduces people she and her team already know, drawn from the communities they have spent nearly two decades getting to know.
Gild sits naturally beside it. One is a room you step into. The other is an introduction made for you. Both begin from the same belief: that the best meetings happen when people are understood first.
Chosen, not registered.
Considered, not collected.
