Membership in The Gild Society
The Gild Society is a private dating club, entered by application, and not everyone who applies is accepted. What you're joining is Gild itself: three kinds of evening, hosted in person in your city, with a seat reserved whenever you choose.

Just as you may be invited into their rooms, the people who stand out in theirs may be invited into yours. A Gild evening gathers Gild's own members alongside the best of every room in the Constellation: the ones each room was glad to see again. Together, we call them the Star Circle.

Your application keeps working once you're in. The same answers are quietly matched across everyone in the Constellation, in search of someone worth introducing you to. There is nothing further to fill out, and nothing further to pay.

How membership works
What happens after I apply?
Every application is reviewed within about 48 hours. If you're accepted, you're a member from that day. If you're not, your $295 is returned to you in full, right away.
What does membership cost, and does it renew?
Membership is $295 for one year. That is an introductory rate, and we expect it to rise as demand grows. There is no subscription. When the year ends, we write to ask whether you'd like to renew and confirm the rate at that time. Nothing is charged unless you say yes.
What do Gild evenings cost?
Evenings are reserved one at a time, and only when you choose to attend. Most start at $59, and some special evenings are more. At Gild Taste, each member also orders and pays for their own food and drink.
How do complimentary invitations reach me?
We write to you personally, by email, with a specific evening, place, and time. You accept or pass, and there is no charge either way. Invitations may be to a Gild evening or to an evening anywhere in the Constellation.
How many invitations will I receive?
That is never promised. It depends on your city, the calendar, and which rooms suit you. What we can say is that members are first on the list, and that you can always reserve a seat at a Gild evening when you want to be sure of one.
What if Gild isn't hosting in my city yet?
Your membership still opens the Constellation where you live, so invitations can begin before Gild's own evenings do. You'll be among the first to hear when they start.
How do private introductions work?
Your application answers are matched across everyone in the Constellation. If we find someone worth introducing you to, we get in touch, either with a curated introduction or through Luvo Matchmaking. There is nothing further to fill out. And if you're introduced, there is no charge to you, ever.
Membership is $295 for the year, an introductory rate, returned in full if you're not accepted. No subscription. It renews only if you choose.
